    Great thread!

I won't steal, but here's my current thread on the Aussie Early 901 site with an alternative kind of rotisserie I refer to as an "octisserie" You essentially roll the whole car over inside the cage (which will also have castors to move outside for really dirty work).

    Hi,

I look forward to seeing more pics of your 67 car. If anyone is making a Rotisserie like Marks, it may be worth just a few minor changes. The centre of gravity is a little lower than the pivot point used to rotate the shell. Lower this by 4 inches and during rotation it will be much more manageable.

In case a pic helps, here is what we made (can be used on either SWB or LWB)

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.

Without pics, I don't believe you.

    Brooohaaaaaa Kenikh is great.

O.K. I'll ask, why a Schrader valve and does the Schrader valve help enough to justify the risk of leakage? Not critiquing just curious if there is some cool race application that again I'm not aware of like the WD-40 straws in the cv boots. Man I'm a newbie.

The Schrader valve allows you to connect an air hose to blow out the lines during oil change. Probably a quart or so remains in them and the cooler when you drain the tank and the sump.

Sounds smart. I guess the tstat needs to be open so the oil can be drained from the lines? What do you need to do to add a Shrader valve, I'm guessing by brazing a steel tire valve? Is there a Shrader that works best for this application?
