This should re-ignite some spirited debate from those who like and from those who hate this model.

A stone waste of money. If only to have the "Porsche" name on an SUV.
Now they have produced a green one which is an oxymoron.
Off road? Hah!
How about a Subaru? Spend less time in the shop and it will still be going with 200,000 miles on the clock. 1/5th -1/4 the price for admission and the rest goes to a used GT3 with cash left over.
I recently drove the 3.6 flat six and it was a hoot. Paddle shifters with downshift (match revs) technology. Fun and spirited car which for the money cannot be beat.
The Cayenne and the Panamera make no sense whatsoever. Heir Piech may kill one of them yet.
When Ferrari produces an SUV, I fear the world may be near the end.

And their biggest money maker, I believe. From a business standpoint, at this point, Porsche doesn't have much choice but to go with the horse they've got.
Put it another way . . . what's the market for a hybrid 911? Not to mention the cost to develop.
As for the Panamera, according to Car Magazine (?) . . . it won't be continued after its current product cycle ends (2017?)

I can still whip it with ANYTHING I have on the farm should the Ferrari piloto choose to "off-road" it. I'll hook the lowest HP tractor to a full turd hearse to make it fair.
1) I won't get stuck.
2) If he tries to pass I can utilize the "spray feature" to replicate real world farm driving. This could ostensibly end the contest immediately.
3) The driver MUST navigate through at least one dozen 1st class "pies" without missing any. He will be DQ'd for a single miss.
How can I lose?
Best,

I have an '09 Cayenne GTS. It's a great car. I thought they were hideous but then I drove a GTS and bought one, traded in my 997 C4S Cab. Of course, I have 3-4 other really cool cars to drive, but as a daily hauler on the freeways of LA.....can't beat it. It gets terrible mileage but who cares?
