    nos power antenna install

I finally found the oem power antenna for my 73 911. I purchased it from alleuro.com and Jason was helpful. In any event it came as a kit and with a relay. I am trying to figure out the following:

    - where the factory installed the relay to the cars body and to which fuse at the fuse box the hot lead was attached.

    Any info would be helpful.

I shouldn't even answer this, as I have no first-hand knowledge of early 911 power antennae, but I am familair with this vintage european power antennae in general....typically, dare I say, very often the relay is attached to the motor in one way or another, most often on european cars of this vintage you would need +12V to the antenna motor, and the +12V trigger, not much else, some cars ran a ground wire which was always unneccessary, since the antenna motor was well grounded to the chassis, in addition to the antenna wire shield.

hope this helps, post some photos when the antenna arrives.
