    FS 2.0 S crankshaft 66mm and rods

I've been keeping these to build a nice 2.5 They've been stored for over 10 years.

    - Crankshaft main bearing journal is .5 under ( second oversize) and the rod journals are also .5 under. I'm looking to get $300

    - the S rods are std std. $400

    Hey guys,
No affiliation here...but this is a deal. Yeah the bearings are going to cost more, but look at what you are saving on the package! I have these on my shelf waiting for a 2.5 build, but if someone doesn't snap this up, I may just have to send a PM

I purchased these rods and they were received quickly. However, only one is a 2.0L rod and the other 5 are a mixture of 2.2L rods w/ two different casting numbers. Informed Al that I would like a refund and he offered to refund purchase price... less shipping and LESS 35% for Canadian duties he'll pay when they're shipped back. He also suggests that I simply resell them myself. Anyone want to buy these from me for $406.00, shipped?

Why not sell them for what you can and send those funds up to Al. Then he can refund your $$ without having to pay the 35% Dudley Doright tax.

It's also worth mentioning that the crank will need to be re-heat treated since it's been cut down.

Neil, thanks for your input. Much appreciated.
The crank isn't a fresh cut, it is out of a running engine. But I'll take your word on the heat treatment.
As for your suggestion, I like it. It is one of three suggestions I sent john this morning, but have yet to receive a response.

    Thanks,
    Ali
