    Isn't it the knob placed on the lower dash of the 935 and other racing prototypes of 1975-1978 to calibrate the Turbo or modify the balance of the brakes?

    I think it screws into the heater duct and is some sort of temp sensor for the webasto heater system on swb cars...?
