Thread: Discussion: Targa Colorado 2011 ?

I rarely look in this section of the forum, glad I did. This would be a great event. It would be really fun to make it to one of our great tracks as part of the fun. I better get the car finished.

Recently got back from another trip to Treffen and had a good run thru CO. My 2.0 MFI, Ed's 2.4 MFI, and David's 2.2 Carbs had no issues up to 11,300. I am sure we would be down on power a bit more at 12,500 but could still have some fun!!!

Plus we meet a nice CO. Officer.

why trailer from the west coast?

i will be heading out for my sisters graduation in denver the last week of may, and taking the ol 70 911t for a change. just survived the trip down to treffen and back. oil/muffler change, and skippy will be ready for another road trip. skippy will have over 6k in road miles this year before memorial day.

would love to take part in a real colorado tour some day in the 911. during my CSU days i hit almost every ski area in the state and loved taking the back way to all the mtns. hit 5 areas one spring break and not one was
with-in 100 miles from the previous days.

    Targa Colorado (TaCo)

    Hi Dave,

Chris and I shared some emails with you about an event in Colorado a little over a year ago after the 1st Targa CA. If this develops further, I'll be glad to take care of the administrative hoo-hah (as Frank calls it) and work with him & Grady on the route maps etc. This would be a lot of fun.
