Bursch muffler installation questions - urgent

I bought a used 2in 1out bursch muffler had it blasted and recoated then installed it tonight.

Does it have/need a mounting bracket?

I have a 3.2 with SSI's and the flanges of the muffler didn't quite line up - is the muffler tweaked? I had to push about 1/8" to get the muffler to bolt up will this cause stress cracking on my SSI's?

The outlet is actually inclined slightly upwards - very wierd. Is it likely the muffler is tweaked or is it not for a 911?

Since this muffler is now on my car and I want to drive it in the morning feedback is great appreciated.

    Thanks
    Mark

Go ahead and drive it, you won't hurt anything in the short term, but over the long haul the lack of a support system means all the weight of the muffler is hanging on the heat exchangers, unlike the original system where the muffler is properly supported on the engine mount. It's not unusual for the bolt holes to not line up perfectly. I sometimes loosen all the heat exchanger nuts, so the exchangers can shift slightly on the mounting studs when bolting up a muffler. May help to line up the holes better.

I am running the Bursch on my track car. It is awesome.

I am not running a strap and it causes the support on the back of the h'xers to break. I have had to weld it up more than once.

I am going to put a strap on the mffler this year - possibly jusy use all round strapping.
