Thread: Gauge Photos Request

    Gauge Photos Request

I'm looking for a photograph of the dashboard in Dick Moran's Speedster. In particular I would like to take a gander at the quadruple-combination gauge.

Also, in that same vein, I'm looking for photos of combination gauges that are different than what came stock in a 911 ... modified gauges are what I'm after.

And, finally, I would be interested in some shots of 904 dashboards/gauges.

I'm gathering ideas and thank everyone in advance...

    Marco,

Here's my 904 combo gauge. Oil pressure in bars (lower left), oil temperature "C" to "H" (on top), and fuel (lower right). Sorry about the glare.

    Thanks, John. Much appreciated.

I have to say, though, I'm surprised by a number of things: 1) nobody has a shot of Moran's speedster 2) nobody has a creative combination-instrument that they're eager to show off and 3) nobody posted even a snide (snyde?) comment.

Here is a merged image of my restored gauges. The car is a euro 1970 T that had the simple 5 gauge (non S).

gauges on left are now combi.

Fuel/Voltmeter low fuel light/Parking brake light
Temp/Pressure alt light/Low oil pressure light

I added a little bling with the small inner chrome ring.

Marco - I don't have any pictures of Dick Moran's Speedster but here are a couple of shots showing the layout in a 904 (replica in this case) & a NOS 904 triple gauge:

Here are a few custom gauges I was making. The first gauge has a built in shift light and was for the race car. The second gauge was a street car version with turn signal, oil & alt lights.

A few more. Volt meter and oil tank, and my version of a 3 gauge set up.

I only deal with North Hollywood Speedometer as they are the best in the game.

They've got a Hartmut working there, too, I believe. If not, they've got a Kevin and a Valdik which are good enough for me.
