This thread should be moved to "Off Topic".

Martin, This argument makes no sense why do we not include threads on Gremlins; I believe they are also contemporaries and have a community following.

My new 15s on Stitch and oops.....Nick, Jeff and Reza (EarlySers) committing the blasphemy of admiring Raj's 914-6...... and of course a Gremlin
Shoot you caught me !! Now I'd be okay if it had a 911 RS engine wouldn't I

Just as the Classifieds Ads have an "Other Porsche Cars" category, perhaps the Early 911S Registry Forums could have an "Other Porsche Cars" category as well....in addition to the General Info, Technical Info and Drives, Tours, Gatherings, etc. categories that are already there.

That way you could post cool non-early 911 cars like 914-6 GT's, 964's, 962's, etc there.
And not dilute the early 911 posts in the General Info category.
That way people who don't really go to the Off Topic category could more easily read through these non-early 911 Porsche car posts.

    What do you think?

    Doug,
That would make it a lot more acceptable. Probably a best compromise.

    Chuck,
What do do think? Rather than being thrown in with the "Grelims" at least other Porsches are recognized as legitimate Porsches. A step in the right direction.

    ?? I can't believe it

i am amazed, i think everybody should get a grip here. this is going to get ugly.
    1. thanks for posting my car Martin, i enjoyed seeing it here on the forum
    2. we 914-6 (+GT) owners have a very cool forum with Roadglue
    3. this is a early 911 site and i have no problem with it being moved to OT
    4. if good old Ferry decided to put a Porsche crest on something, it is a Porsche, who are we to judge his decisions.

FYI, the 911 had a hard time in front of the 356 crowd, do we really need to go there?

i just want to enjoy the product, air or water cooled,
    that's my 2 cents

I also like the idea of an "Other Porsche Cars" forum, possibly restricted to air-cooled.

914s have a forum, 356s have a forum, this is the Early 911S forum.

914's are cars you buy when you're teenager and a 911 is what you buy once you become a MAN. Ha ha, bring it on.
My teenager can beat up your old man.

(this is gonna be a fun thread... FWIW, I agree with Hans, this is a 911 forum, time to un-wad thy panties)

Hmmmmm ....... Maybe this thread does have some gas left in the tank and we need the iron fist of fairness (Chuck) to return this to some semblance of order.

I thought once Marco, Mr 914-6 himself, weighted in the discussion was closed.....
