    Totally agree Curt - pure lunacy. All in the name of TV entertainment of the masses. Yeah, that'll ruin any chances of open road racing for the foreseable future.

    Driver of the Vette was not wearing a driver suit - nice. The only person running to the wreckage was the camera man. EMS just strolling along..... Wow.

    The producer's liability lawyers probably sang WTF in unison (if not harmony) and realized the usual track liability releases aren't gonna cut it for this little adventure in broadcasting. Love how Mr. Walkie-Talkie (in the forground at the beginning of the tape) remained calmly leaning on the fender of a truck, walking slowly away when the carnage came to a stop. Like he's seen this movie before. And just what are the safety-vested officials doing afterwards? Inquiring minds want to... never mind.

    Reality TV, huh? Bull Run and Pinks are lookin' high brow in comparison. Given time this could sweep the Darwin Awards.
