Hood center filler assembly with plastic fuel tank

    hello

I am looking for pictures of a hood center filler with a 85 liters plastic fuel tank ?

Is there somebody who has made this type of assembly ?

    thanks a lot

I've seen 2 approaches to a 'thro the hood' filler based on an 85L plastic tank:

    - the first was in 'Sloop II' - Kurt Zimmerman's 3.5L twin-plug narrow-bodied tribute car. This had an off-set thro' the hood filler with the neck attached to the tank via the gauge sender hole:

    - the second was in a Signal Yellow T/R 'replica' which I think was built by Oliver Hussenot (Registry member OliveR):

Not exactly a centered location, and it's the larger capacity tank, but you can see how it was plumbed. This is the original Richie Ginther Sloopy. Took the shot at the '07 Rennsport III Reunion in Daytona.
