I like the way you think.
At the 356 show the RG guys were discussing the same.
A nice cooler fall date would be perfect.
SOW is fine but Chuckwalla is my new favorite medium speed track.

Good suggestion, Mike. I've not been to Chukkawalla yet, so I'd be up for a day at either track in the Fall...

Would you open it up to a small group of 356 and 912 guys? Either place would be fun. Chuckwalla has it's appeal.

The tow/drive to Chuckwalla is ridiculous.

How are the facilities out there? Do they have running water? Electricity?

I'd be willing to go at least once, but I would have to reserve a place to crash at Sheila & Dave's place afterwards.

I think Willow is going to be better as a central draw.

Sign me up, SOW it is!

    CW fyi.
CW has 5 trackside single wides they rent out.
CW gets knocked by high hp bikes/cars b/c the longest straight is only 1,000ft. Can't get to 180mph?
They did instead create several awesome medium speed 1,000 ft long sweepers.
As far as track surface it is the best in So Cal.
    The track just suits me.

    what month??

When are we thinking of going?? Sept., Oct., November??

Several have told me the best day to book is a Monday. Those who want to spend the night at the Hoiday Inn Express can drive up at their leisure on Sunday, (already off) spend the night, wake up Monday and you are there.

Midweek means taking an extra day off work for the drive, or leaving after work, arrive 8-9-10pm.

Those who drive up the morning of, chime in....

Bottom line, we still get the same trackies, 10-15 total. The last 5-10 paid drivers is the hard part.

Gary and I spoke about instead of 20 guys at $200, try 13 guys at $300.00??
