    Gary,
Hold onto your check....When I get 13 CONFIRMED people who state they are in, then they can mail me the check

As for a rule change...I do not know. It has been a few years since we have been there. Do me a favor, please call them and ask.
    Use me as a example:
I do not have a roll bar, have stock seat belts, have a on board extinguisher.
The track day is non-timed, no wheel to wheel racing..

    Paul, bring whatever you want!

One reason we are doing 13 drivers at $300.00 is to just get the track costs
    covered ASAP.

When we have the 13 PAID drivers, guys who are willing to commit to the date and pay the $300, NO Refunds..find your own replacement

    REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED.

2 Sessions, Fast and Faster...6 or 7 cars in the session...On the half hour...

I would think that most of us will be setting personal records for putting the most miles on a track that day

I am trying to clear the schedule but right now its 50/50 for me.

    Gary,
Since this is a HPDE or Driver Training Day a mechanically sound and safe vehicle is what is needed. Roll bars, harness or FE is not required. I would recommend that you look at the POC website and see what they require for tech if you run in their STS series. If the items are to much for you to handle then I would recommend a shop in your area that has done tech service for vehicles running with POC or PCA. I know Marco at TLG can get your car teched and see if any items would need to be addressed before the track day. TRE is also another shop close to you that could provide this service. I do not know what either charge for a standard tech inspection.

I will say that this is a basic tech inspection that any vehicle that is some what cared for would pass and does not take into account the nut behind the wheel.

Hopefully I will be able to clear my schedule and be out there with you guys!

I know. It just seems a waste to take the Porsches out when this car is all ready/set for track use (and much safer).

    Ray,

Thanks for taking the lead and making this happen. That's a lot of open track time for the $. It sounds like a really great day, but I have a work obligation that day and won't be able to go.

At this point I am 75% in. Work will dictate. Thank you Ray and Gary for pushing and organizing. It's a great time of year to be out there, and Oct 11th is Columbus Day which may make it easier for some (students, fed employees, bank employees) to attend. I need to scrub in my new RA1's.

    Gee whiz,
I would have thought this would be standing room only; SOW, drive till you drop with other similar cars and guys, no corner working....

What do we need to do to get this going? I know some great early car guys at POC shal I make some calls?

    Magnus are you listening?

Ray, what is the headcount as of today?
    Thanks,

PLUS a whole bunch of maybes

IF the maybes are in, we are there...
If we are not there, ( 1 week from today) Christian, give your friends a call.

I honestly thought we would have this bought and paid for, with registration closed by now.
I realize it will be a EXPENSIVE day. Track, hotel, food, gas.
However, that was the reason for the price increase, and lower (SAFER, MORE LAPS) number of drivers on the track.
