Very nice Bob! You've got a better creative eye than I do for sure. Our dueling banjos wouldn't sound very good, trust me.

I really don't like the sound of Banjos, but I would like to play along nevertheless.
It was a good day for photography. Nicely overcast in the early morning, typical harsh, contrasty sunshine in the middle part of the day which allowed time to walk around and look at cars, and a nice long "magic hour' with beautifully warm light and long shadows. Found a great spot at Turn #1 to set up the monopod and the telephoto and promptly ran into David Soares, aka Nine17 who frequently posts here but whom I'd not met before, and who independently had found the same spot shortly before me. We solved a lot of the world's problems while watching some good racing.
Can't wait for the next CSRG event.

...and now for something completely different: Track shots !!
Thanks for looking

Nice shoots everyone and thanks for sharing. I couldn't make the event but it looks like a good time.
I'll try making it out next time.
Very interesting, the amount of understeer the #04 356 is displaying. Much more than Eddie's #81 which has a big, torquey 6 and needs the stability. I know the car (#04) is extremely light and has a locked rear end but that seems a lot to me for that point on the track (one can run out of room on the right just after the bridge!).
Nice, clear shots John.
thanks

as for banjos; David Love shared his definition of a "Gentleman" with me - 'one who can play the saxophone,...... but doesn't'.
