COLD TOES TOUR---The Northeast fall run Nov 6 & 7

after such a great run for RITV 2010, I'm thinking we need a fall run....days are short and cool, but lots of great roads to explore.

    here are my thoughts:

meet up friday night Nov 5, saturday morning, Nov 6 hit the roads as the sun comes up, drive until it gets dark, dine and drink....repeat sunday, Nov 7, run until early afternoon, giving everyone daylight to drive home in.

Location being tweaked, but plan on western MA or northeast NY, just a bit south of Albany....again TBD, but relatively easy access for the New Englanders, NY/PA, even those mid-westerners might be interested.

home base likely being in/around lenox MA, one day heading north, the other day we head west.

Let me know interest levels, and I'll start working out details about lodging and routes.

    what? no heated seats??

for me, heat on is easy, heat off usually works.

I'm thinking I have a place to stay lined up in Lenox, price is right, free breakfast, need a headcount so I can negotiate a group rate.

this event has reached critical mass....I have 8 confirmed attendees.

if you haven't sent an email or pm or reply clearly stating "I will come" then you have not been counted.

I'd like to block some rooms at a hotel in Lenox, MA to get a great rate, need a good idea of number of attendees.

    should be fun.

"COLD TOES TOUR", is the name, bring out the thermals, heel and toe with Dunhams, what could be more fun than drinking beers in the parking lot with mittens. More details soon.

    time for a bump.

I have around 10 attendees verified, if you think you might come, but haven't told me, now is the time....looking to grab a block of hotel rooms around Lenox, MA, I doubt everyone will come up friday night, but if you do, I'm sure there will be ample tire-kicking and fish tales....

let's call this the 1 month warning...see you soon.
