1970 or 1969 S

Can anyone help with this VIN and engine number.
There is confusion as to whether this is a 1970 or 1969S.

the confusion is probably because the chassis decodes as

911 (911) 0 (1970) 3 (S) 1 (Targa) 0374 (374th made) ie about half way thru the production run

and the engine decodes as
6 (6cylinder) 3 (S) 9 (1969) 0038 (38th made) ie a very early 1969S engine as there were over 2000 of them made

looks very like a non matching numbers car to me with the correct engine being in the 630xxxx range

Yes, as Hugh says, it's a 1970 2.2S Targa with a an earlier 2.0S (mfi) engine.
