    NJ/PA/DE/NY/NE earlyS Drive Sunday 10/17/10

We are putting together a Porsche ride (AudiR8, Saab are acceptable) on Sunday 10/17/10; It will have three legs.

The first leg will start @ 7am departing from the Wawa @ Douglasville pa. (at the end of 422). John Kolesa will guide us on a 2hr ride through the surrounding country side. The ride will conclude with a quick breakfast stop.

The second leg will leave Boyertown PA @1015 and go over the river to Erwinna Covered Bridge, just above Lambertville NJ. Karl has kindly mapped a route.

The third leg drivers will meet up at the above noted Erwinna Covered bridge to ride up the Delaware Water Gap. This ride will conclude 1 to 2PM.

Drivers are welcome to join for any leg of the drive....

Heading down from NY at oh-dark-thirty to make it in time for 7am start.
Lewis and Mike are heading down as well. Who else from north of the Bethlehem-Rahway line will make it?

Today's gathering brought in a few new faces, who not only got to experience John's masterfully crafted rally but a beautiful eastern foliage day.....

Karl, Mike, Jim, Todd, Raj and Wayne all were newcomers to the route.

Sorry we didn't get to do the 'sleep-over' this time Luke, but thanks for the offer. Instead Karl and I opened a few bottles of vino and ate pizza in front of a nice roaring fire. And before anyone makes a snide remark, Nikki (Karl's lovely wife) was there too....

4am start and New York traffic on the way home means you can stick a fork in me, I'm done! Great ride, you can count me in any time.
