Very clean, almost sinister, hotrod look with the blacked out trim and all, but it loses some of the "early car" appeal without the brightwork, IMHO. Why not carry it all the way thru w/ the handles, mirrors, grilles and lightbox surrounds, if you're going that direction?

Isn't this the same car you were offering to eaton for $30K a couple of weeks ago, BTW? Did you add $5K in additional mods since then?

Just an "asking" price, I know.... If the market right now really is at this level for a non-original but nice SWB, I may have to put mine up for sale.

    Tom,

Since I posted that, I have spent quite a bit in modifications. Also, for 35k i was planning on including all the factory parts I have with the car as well. When i listed for 30, i wasn't sure I wanted to let them go with it

P.S. You came over and took a look at my 964 when I had it for sale. (I live right up the street from you). I believe nice SWB's will pull even more than my asking price right now. These cars are all about the buyer, and I have had quite a bit of interest in the car in just the 1 day its been posted. Your car is absolutely beautiful, and without a doubt in my mind, your call will pull a serious dollar or two

To all that have PM'd me...I'm working hard at responding to everyone. The best way for me to talk about the car with you is via phone, so please send me your phone number, and I will gladly give you a call.

At this moment, I am getting a mod list together and will be posting it in the for sale thread.

Oh ya--the 964 thread on this forum had me in a fever for awhile, and the price was right on yours. Luckily, I came to my senses before my wife killed me!

I've got $5K of spare parts hanging around w/ mine, too, so I know how it happens. The market will sort out the pricing issue, undoubtedly. You can always unload the spares separately if the buyer doesn't want/need them, it just takes more time and effort.
