April 7-9, 2011Details to be posted soon. This event will surely sell out. Some great changes in store

update 10/25 NASA (National Auto Sport Association) will be sanctioning, and insuring this event . Hotel to be announced later this week on this site and the "bird" , Alfa bb, etc . Last year the hq hotel sold out , and some had to stay elsewhere
A new Targa California page will be constructed soon on the NASA so cal website. All the info will be posted there as well

Dave - can you give us a heads-up on the changes and the significance of the the NASA sanctioning (some timed track stages maybe ). This is a big commitment for us out-of-towners so the sooner we know the details, the better!

This is NOT a timed event! This will have the same structure as previous TaCa's, but now we have insurance coverage from NASA as it is their event , with me as event master.
    NO competitive driving allowed.
The registration process, information stream from their site, will be more efficient than the past. There are benefits to first time NASA members (each car must have one NASA member present as team captain).
The entry fee is mandatory this year : I gotta pay for the insurance and the expenses somehow. No disrespect to past donors: It was very much appreciated and helped a lot.
The fee is being worked out so it is fair to all.
I am working on getting 2 special visits for us on Thursday and Friday, and also a fun welcome dinner Thursday night. Those of you that remember my reign as VP of Motorsports with POC know how i keep adding more fun to each successive event
