    '69 s . . .

    . . . on eBay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...b517fd0c#v4-37

    VIN = 119300717
    Eng# = 6391019
    Lt Blue on black

    Barn Find

    This 911S has been sitting for 10 years. . . . got the car started. . . . The ignition unit is not working. Currently using points and condensor. The brake master cylinder is leaking, may install a new one before the sale or include the part with the car. The engine in the car #6134367 is a 1973 2.4. The original engine #6391019 2.0 case, heads, and other engine parts are included in the sale. The fuel injection is missing. . . . a very solid 911. Surface rust only . . . The car shows no signs of any accidents. . . . driveable but needs restoration . . . Possible Trade

    Very interesting car. It's been a long time since a good rust-free, complete, project 911S has been on ebay. Although the current engine is not original, fortunately this car has the original case. Will be interesting to see what it brings considering its no reserve.

    Current bid is $24.1k with one day left . . . no reserve.

    Car looks pretty crispy . . . and check out the AC condenser --- looks like its under the car(?) --- but if it really is un-crashed and everything's there . . .

    I think that is a high price for a car in need of so much work. Given today's restoration cost when complete this will be an $80,000 to $90,000 dollar car.

    Love the 911S badge on the front hood, first time I've seen that; must be a rare option.

    Projects always have get people thinking that they can build it cheaper and better. That said it has to be the color that is selling the car. Owner is straightforward person and all seams legit. I always wonder why some guys bid without simply calling the owner?? He would have taken less that what the bid already is and with a little negotiating would have taken quite a bit less from my talking with him.

    I walked as if you want the matching number engine in there it is going to make the project upside down cost wise. Otherwise drive as is but hat engine will always be the missing link like it or not.

    Unfortunately it looks like it was pulled off just before the auction was about to end... Anyone know the story behind this?
