While I do have the rear window defroster I know my six is not from Finland.

I have heard a few others with this C13 option confusion. The COA's of these cars are not that good.

I think there is some confusion between Country Equipment Codes and Option Package Codes.
I posed the question to Porsche Cars North America and here is their response:

    COA C13.jpg

With the above information I believe my car to have the Option Package Code C13, but not a vehicle equipped with Finland Country Equipment C13.

I did manage to find the window sticker to my 1971 914 and it listed no codes just the individual options, Appearance Group and Tinted Glass.

Finland code shows up on a lot of -6 and -4 car COA's. I know of two to three others that got this on a COA request. I believe it is "rust".

Not sure what's funnier: Rust comment or JP photo.

Ahhh... got it. I just knew of those guys who were talking about it on their COA (unless it's the rust you're talking about)

I totally agree- so why didn't the silver one on ebay bid up any higher than 42?
Unfortunately I think those of us who love these cars are far fewer in numbers than 911 buyers.

I think with exceptional 914s getting into $20-30K territory and 6ers doubling that, there's a trajectory similar to early S cars.
There might be a limit to how high 4 cyl cars go, though recent European interest seems to prove otherwise... and 6ers will follow suit,
    if not set the trend.
