    always thought that blue GT was a great looking car having seen it on the web a few times.

    and agree, that it is good to see the sixes come up in value. Mine's just an old race car but its a pretty cool one I think...JayZittrerPorsche914InTraffic_CVARatTMS2018 (1).jpg

    Lets give my latest work a better presentation. Finally a 914-6 done properly, done the Vintage Excellence way.

    914-6S

    Matching numbers
    Adriatic Blue
    2.5L Short Stroke
    Gas Burners
    Michelin XWX tires
    911S alloy front brakes
    914-6GT rear calipers
    16mm front swaybar, 15mm rear factory parts
    Koni struts

    These cars MUST have fun engines or they are not much different than boring 4cyl cars so... Original matching # 2.0L block - add pistons squirters, all the oil system mods, aluminum oil pump, 911S 66mm CW crank, 911S 2.2L rods with good hardware, LN Nikasil cylinders 87.5mm 9.5:1 compression pistons, Supertec head studs, 2.2 Carbureted heads completely reworked by Walt at Competition Engineering, Aasco springs and titanium retainers, Mod Solex cam, 36mm intake ports, 007 2.2S distributor, Parts Klassic CDI w/7400rpm limit, NOS Weber 40IDAs, stock exhaust, increased speed 930 fan pulley ratio - car does not get above 210 degrees and has no external/additional oil cooler! Good for close to 200hp car weighed in at 2074lbs with a full tank.

    My interpretation of a 914-6S if they built one.

    Nice Adriatic. Here's mine with a weber inducted 2.7 (original on shelf). Fills the driving gap between a 2.0 Solex car and a 930 perfectly;
