    Very helpful Thread. Thank you!

    BTW, from my experience, with these heaters, it is VITAL that no fuel leaks are confirmed before igniting they. There are some real crispy stories about people thinking all the lines were tight and good.

    He mentions a 15 page Webasto manual, but I could not find it on the Samba. Is this a separate repair manual or is the same info in the workshop manuals???

    The LWB diagram does not show the on/off switch or placement. My Italian '73S came with the aux heater switch installed with a small pigtail/harness. When on, the red light on the left side of the ventilation console should light up. The switch is on the lower dash to the right of the steering wheel exactly as shown in the Italian drivers manual. In the manual also is a paragraph or two on the aux heater and its operation. It is not on my COA, but is clearly a proper installation maybe at the dealer.
