    Red Metallic?

    Hi!
Have anybody seen a 70-71 911 in original red metallic? The color code is 021 and 8181.
It's not my favorite and I was actually planning on a color change to Viper Green, but the car in question turns out to be very original, except for a shitty respray some ten years ago. Because of that it might be a better idea to do a good paint job, but without total disassemble as the "under the hoods" paint is good and original.

So all I need is to see a picture of a car in the correct color and not hating it...

This is how it looks now - more sort of light bordeaux and very little metallic.

    Hi Tommy
Nice to see you here. You helped me with some technical details when I bought my 2,2 a couple of years ago).

Your color is rare, 70-71 only and I think it will grow on you. KEEP IT!!

Take a look at the Hester thread:

Rare color cars are always worth more no matter what the color. You would be impressed on how well the car would look in a fresh Metallic Red. Chris
