Barely 1/2 gallon of gas or not even a Big Mac for the one and only coolest entity in skiing (or at least a legit reference)!

Thanks to Strato102 for selling me a spare set of his 1969ish Head Killy 800's. I'm going to find and mount some plate bindings (Besser maybe?) and pretend I'm Robert Redford

Found these undrilled Head Killy 800 SL's this morning on Craig's List. For every 2000-3000 ads scanned, one occasionally pays off. The guy bought these skis in 1968 and couldn't afford the bindings right away. Then he got busy with school and work and never skied again. They have been stored in the same basement ever since. Today was the first time they've seen daylight in 44 years

A real dilemma on whether to mount bindings. They do look bare. Only N-I-B N17 (edit: make that Look Nevada Grand Prix, the N17's didn't come out til 71 or 72) would do!

Yup, they do have 'cracked' edges.

It's the season for the other vintage skis; an all wood Terry and a wood veneer O'brien. I recently bought an older Maherajah and a Murdoch, haven't seen them yet. TSANY0015.jpghe ski boat is a 1966 Rayson Craft with the original "Tower of Power" in line six Mercury.
