Thread: My new 73S

I'm not aware of any 'set' distance, I tend to make mine a little closer together, but I think its largely a matter of personal taste. Nothing wrong with the looks of the distance used on yours.

Car is back home with its new big brother. Franz did Transmission rebuild along with lots of other work. Runs amazingly well but doesn't see the road near enough due to big brother stealing all my attention.

After almost two years and dealing w Covid supply issues my engine is finally finished and she runs great. Did lots of “while your at it” things. My mechanic, Martine did an awesome job along with the help of many other vendors. Rebuilt suspension. New Stompski stealth shifter, amazing! Waiting for some new vapor hoses from @Brad Davis to replace the Tygon tubing that failed 😨 so I can enjoy driving without smelling gas vapors.

Working on some minor details. I have Euro black rear bumperetts. I need new rubber. Does anyone know if the reproduction part from Stoddard is any good? I recently ordered some official Porsche sun visors and they were terrible. Not close to original. The reproduction ones are better than the “official” Porsche part.
    Here is the reproduction link.

Here is the link for what I “think” is the official Porsche part.

I am not sure about the last one being a Porsche part or for that matter if it is even the correct part. Stoddard’s website is so lousy you can’t really get much from it.

Appreciate advice. Don’t want to waste more time and money.
