This may have appeared earlier, but here's a list culled from the chart on pages 65-67 of Porsche's "Service-Information Model 69":

Wheelbase extended 57mm, thus changed wheel opening in rear fender
Fender flareout front and rear in wheel running area
Front wheelhouse panels with battery enclosure – 1 battery 45 Ah
Reinforced door lock points, flatter cavity for rear lid release
Reinforced window cranks, changed window regulator ratio (5 turns)
Seat locks for both front seats in backrest adjustment unit
Reinforced and changed seat rails and rail supports
Changed three-point safety belt anchoring points for front seats
Two-point safety belt anchoring points for rear seats
Changed front and rear bumper attachment
Door window frame with (sic) vent wing
Rollshield chrome trim with three vent slits (Targa)
Heating air outlet into leg area from luggage compartment floor
New heating and ventilating system with a three-speed ventilating blower
    Emergency blinker signals
    Glove compartment light
Heated rear window 100 watts on/off
Fuse box location changed to forward left battery enclosure
Changed tail light assembly – reflector in bumper
Changed door panel and arm rest, inner door release in form of recessed lever
Two door pockets in each door
Carpets/floor mats matching color of interior, divided floor mat on driver’s side – Perlon
On/off glare-proof mirror glued to windshield
    Changed ash tray
Name and model designation letters- chromed
Changed sun visor, interior lamp in top center
    One-piece instrument panel cover
    Knee-strip divided
Instrument panel trim as was previously in the “S” model

Not unique for 69 model but doubt many such factory printed mailing envelopes from that era survive so posting it here.

This is a card-backed factory printed / labelled envelope that was sent to a UK address, it is postmarked Stuttgart Zuffenhausen-1 dated 10.1.69. Has a neat 911 shaped franking image -- date reads 10 Jan 69 assuming it uses the traditional German and European dd.mm.yy format, not the US date format. Driver's manual in background is marked IX68 plus an original one page 1 December 68 Porsche Cars Great Britain price list with good old pounds, shillings and pence! Also an original 69MY brochure appears to be 10.68 and has hand stamp address of UK a dealer. So all for a a 69 RHD car I think.

i did not go through all pages of this thread (actually not even one page)so maybe this has already been mentioned.

this encircled part is a 69 only part--not that later cars did not have it but it`s different...

have a NOS one just in case someone is in need...

Now that I bought a '69, my interest is piqued. What is it?

Beware that if some of the 69 only parts are missing (such as the injection on the car you are looking at) and you want to put the car back to how it was built, it will take time and money. Took me a year just to find a fuel pump bracket . . .
