I am still looking... Visiting with Cliff a couple times over the last month has me wanting to see if I can make any more progress. This is kind of where I am at currently:

    J. Ordoqui (Trajo1) ran the 75B after buying it from Mike Downs. He went radio silent after a couple of phone conversations and email exchanges. Trying to re-establish contact.

Looking for Marc (or Mark Biro) in Laguna Nigel last known possible address. He bought the 75B from Dante Heredia after Ordoqui sold it.

The 76B-2 was sold to someone in the St. Louis area in the late 80's (87/88) and may have been Mike Olsen. I tried connecting with the SCCA officials there to go through race results. I never got anywhere and need to get back in touch with them. The car was sleeved and converted to a D Sports Racer. One of the St. Louis region guys remembers a 75B or 76B being raced by Mike Overton and later his mechanic and put up for sale in 1985. Could that be the car and the dates are off a few years? Mike Overton moved to California and I am not sure if he sold it prior to moving or took it with him.

The 77B was last with Frank Bramante who I believe is the same person in Redding, CA. Trying to establish contact up there.

The 78B-4 was sold by Stu Hanssen and I know where that car is. Not my first choice, but may put my name in the hat should they decide to sell.

Again, a long shot, but any help that someone can provide would be most appreciated. Especially finding Dante Heredia, Marc Biro (both of SoCal), Frank Bramante, and possibly Mike Overton. Thanks!

    Great Scott!

You either have the patience of Job or you’re scared that if you let your sister drive it once procured, she’ll kick your as.

Without a doubt, the latter smart guy. She’s way better than me behind the wheel. The 510 is getting an engine and transmission rebuild that will add 20% more ponies. I guess I do “OK” behind the wheel given the times I turned with a tired power train.

Notwithstanding Frank's poking fun at my patience, I am still looking on and off. So I picked up the search for the 75B and 76B again. In December I actually stumbled on some information on Marc Biro and a business he owned in Temecula, CA. Sadly, the information was an obituary from the previous year on Marc. I think he passed young at 62. Not sure if that was him, I called and emailed the business linked to him - Vintage Yamaha. Number disconnected and email bounced back. Must have been his obit. The only way to pick up the trail was to contact a family member. Very delicate situation, so I let it lie.

Well, yesterday I get an email from the chassis historian in the UK who I have been corresponding with regarding my detective work. He is the one who debunked the 75B-8 chassis that is painted in green Skiroule as not a Villeneuve car. I originally thought it was Cliff's (chassis 8) masquerading as a GV car. He proved that the chassis plate is fake and not #8 nor an ex-GV car. Interesting... So his email says that he has been in contact with the owner of the real 75B-8 and it is being restored in Southern California. Won't share the owner's name or the restoration shop at this point. Not sure why, but whatever... I have contacted those who are/were connected to the FA community to see if they know anything about it. I know SoCal is a very large place with many car restoration experts, but there can't be many who have the expertise to restore a FA car, no? Anybody in the SoCal area have any recommendations to start asking questions?
