    Older brother to the 68S

After quite some searching and with the help of fellow forum member Manuel Campuzano, I was able to finally source a big brother for my 68S. It is a 65 SC, in excellent condition throughout.

    Thanks Manuel

The SCs are WONDERFUL cars to drive ... they make almost as much horsepower as a 912 but look a million times classier. I particularly like the SC cam's pepiness and the smooth drivability of the Solex carburetors.

Of all the 356s I think the SC coupes might just be my favorite cars to drive. They are such pleasant cars to go motoring in, and the four speed lends itself well to long drives on undulating country roads in Spring - I know that sounds cliche but, hey, cliches exist because they're true.

Congratulations on a beautiful purchase and I hope you enjoy driving it as much as I would.

That is just lovely, Manuel... congrats on the new addition. I agree with Marco, plus the vault-like qualities of the 356 make for added touring comfort.
