Steve McQueens ranch for sale, going cheap?

Reported in an English paper today that Steve McQueen's 14 acre ranch in Santa Paula is for sale at a reduced price of $800,000.
Originally listed last year at $1.75 million it seems a huge drop when you consider the premium paid for the cars and so on,
especially when you throw in a vineyard and the large barn!

Anybody know the place or the area, is it on the San Andreas fault or is there a new freeway scheduled to go across the garden?
    Does seem cheap?
    cheers, Mike

    Santa Paula, CA

Nice, quiet town --- lots of farms and orchards around. Beautiful area. Gentrifying, too, so . . . behave yourself.

Quite a bargain... apparently there's already a contract on it.

Home is till at least 4 times the value of a typical home in that area when comparing house and lot sizes.
