    Wanted: '72S fibreglass front bumper

    Looking for a NOS factory '72S fibreglass front bumper.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Did the factory make a fibreglass front S bumper in 1972? I know they ,made a metal one, but never heard of a fibreglass one. I believe they started making fibreglass front RS bumpers in 73 for the RS cars. But that is an RS bumper with the squared off license plat panel

    True...then first S bumpers were "glass"....it's in the workshop manual. I believe that 69SMan has one on his car.

    Wow my friend. YOU have an INCREDIBLE memory.
    In fact, I only THOUGHT that my bumper was fiberglass - it is metal. Mine is a late 72 (#1450).
    In my research, I believe it was determined that very early bumper 'S' WERE glass, as Eric says.

    I have an early glass `S bumper with a 67 S` deco. How does one determine if it is factory or aftermarket...?
