    Early Shift Pattern Sticker?

    Hi all,
I've been searching for info on what the shift pattern sticker was for early five speed transmissions. I had a feeling one must have existed, since the pattern is so different than other cars, and was happy to read the following quote from a new owner of a '65 911 while combing through old Panorama magazines from the 60s:

"Even with the shifting position decal handy on the windshiled, unfamiliar drivers invariably get into 4th gear instead of going into 2nd from first."

So... does anyone have a photo that shows what this sticker looked like and where it was placed? I want to reproduce one for my '66 912/5.

    thx.

To use as a template? The 356 decal is available from Stoddard.

Reference text and photos for future...

"Water transfer decal or sticker for all early 911 and 912 5 speed shift pattern. Was put on at the factory, to the inside of window on driver side to indicate shift pattern. Very rarely seen and two of the pictures are of an original, mint and unrestored 1965 911. Slightly worn, but was sufficient to remake the one you see for sale. All measurements were taken to duplicate the original as if from Porsche Factory. They came on all 1964, 1965, 1966 and probably 1967, 1968 and 1969. The one pic will show you window placement from Porsche. Nice addition for your vintage Porsche."
