    Yep...they are SS mesh screens over a foam filter. The mesh is there to keep out the big things, and the foam filter will keep out the smaller particles. They are the same foam BBR filter bases they use for the tea ball tops. I haven't tried "spirited" driving with them yet though.

    Hi Rick,

    I liked them so much, I got a couple of extra clamps to have around. I got the Norma clamps from PP. You will be happy ya did it...I sure am!

    Greg,

    If you want to be correct for a '72 you need to change the wing nuts to knurled screws on your engine compartment plastic cover.... wing nuts started about Jan. '73

    Mornin' Chuck and Peter! Heck...I'm not even THAAAAAT lazy. OK...maybe I am I just sent a PM and inquired if any were still available. Now I know the kind I need...thanks to you guys and pics. I'm not going for a concours car or anything, but I want to do it correctly/acceptable too.

    Yep....saw that this morning, and that's a great thing! I just figured with her in Australia, email/PM would be the easiest way to contact her. Funny thing is...I've been to Melbourne before, so we'll have something else to chat about too. Thanks again Peter!
