    Targa Newfoundland Vid

Here's a really well-produced video of the 2009 Targa with Frank Sprongl, 6-time Canadian Rally Champion. The 'Steve' he refers to is Steve Millen in the Nissan GTR.

Curt, THANK YOU for this video! I'm in SoCal, just flew in today to visit family and will miss the Climbtotheclouds.com Mt Washington Hillclimb near the end of the month. Frank will be there defending the record of the mountain he owns in the S2. Vermont SportsCar hired me to design the event poster, T-Shirt and program cover. Should be fun event and I've heard that Frank is going to run the S2... :-)

Thompson - I'm leaving Weds for Climb to the Clouds, I was hoping to run into you out there. I knew Frank was coming but didn't know what car - hopefully the S2! I'll have my rally car on display there. Buffum is going to have his old factory ex-Mouton quattro on display there as well.

Another Targa vid by the same guy. The stage that goes right through these residential subdivisions is crazy!

Curt - take lots of photos! Would be nice to hook up, maybe at an early 911S event? You might see me in a special red '90s RGruppe 964. In the midst of switching around the fleet again, the R53 is going on the blocks, the loyal Audi S6 is still hanging in there, gotta keep that 5 cyl buzz.

I try to drive like that everyday over the mountain from Westford to Milton! The red RGrp964 I've toolin around in is LOUD, neighbors think I'm a nutter. Of course you know, in the Audi, It's like painting on a canvas in the winter!

I saw the 964 - very well done Also, I was told today that Sprongl will be bringing BOTH the S2 and the A2 urq shown in these vids. It's all quite secretive. No word on which car he will race with, but he is very serious about retaining the record for Audi. Higgins will be in the state-of-the-art Subie STi for Vermont Sports Car, but he's never seen the course before. Old skool vs new skool. Should be good.

Yup, that was the challenge for the graphics, old school, vs new school. Frank will be proud that I illustrated his old S2 on the top of the poster... I'm hoping he races the A2.

I'm about 6 weeks behind schedule My header and downpipe are finally done. The EFI system is done (ECU, wiring harness, fuel lines/rails, etc) all laid out and labeled on a sheet of cardboard on the shop floor! This thing is going to be an animal. Might be running by Elkhart Lake historics.

And speaking of Climb to the Clouds, is this insanity or what:
