    Wink Help!! WTB oddball 901/904 gearsets -- attention collectors & racers

    Help!! I need some 901/904/911/914 gearsets in fine shape for track use in my 2 liter cars:

    I'm sure that you are aware that these are very rare gears. Someone like Matt Monson would be able to supply. The "F" gear is quite rare, but there is one for sale on eBay:

    Most would just use an "F" mainshaft.

    Thanks. They are unusual, but they're out there, some probably squirreled away, not being used. Come on folks, dig into the stash! Cheers! Jon

    Updated list -- after doing some gear chart fiddling, I see that I could also use a "J" 2nd gearset. (21:31 ratio) PN#904.302.927.10. Anything out there? Cheers! Jon

    I have A, E, J, Q, X in my box - gears were supplied (& trans built) by Don Jackson in Phoenix, AZ - might be worth asking if he has any of the parts you need.

    Have you thought about flipping a common ZD to get something pretty
    close to K?

    K = 21:30 (1.429)
    Zd = 31:22 (0.7097)

    Ka = 22:31 (1.409)

    Might be a (much) cheaper way to get close to the ratio you want.
    Zd is basically scrap metal while J & K are almost unobtainium.
