Although I can't make it, could one of you who can please take some pictures?
Thanks in advance.

I went and got some photos, but I hope you understand that I'll keep the best for myself to post in the "Porsche Picture of the Day".
I keep hoping to see the day the P. A. Concours regains some of its old glory and elegance ( pun fully intended ) when it was held on the Stanford Athletic field and world-class cars were routinely shown. The current venue is awful, and the event has been dumbed down to bring in the masses.
The first group of 5:
1,2, & 3. - '59 Porsche Carrera 4-cam Coupe
4 & 5. - '39 BMW pillarless Coupe.... a majestic road car that rivaled Mercedes - Benz
Before it became Ruprecht, my Porsche was a '70 911 T
Paying member No. 895 since 2006
" slavish adherence to originality wasn't for me, because the car wasn't as good as it could be."
Rob Dickinson's response when asked what motivated him to build Singers
Second group of 5:
1 & 2. - red '65 Porsche 356 C Coupe
3. - an even 1/2 dozen Cords.....only four shown due to layout on field
4. - in my view, THE "Car of the Show"......Miles Colliers' '38 Maserati 8 CTF 8-cyl. supercharged Grand Prix car. 1 of only 3 produced, they were built specifically to stop the onslaught of the Third Reichs Silver Arrows. It wasn't until this model came to the US in '38 that it started winning, bagging a Pikes Peak run and winning the Indy 500 with Wilbur Shaw. Magnificent ! ( I have several detail shots if you're interested )
5. A mid-engined ARDUN equipped hot-rod..... heady stuff for Murrican Iron !!

May as well post the rest of the Maserati photos here & now........the car's just too rare and precious to hide the images on a hard drive.
