I have been told that Nadellas were used later on cars with LSD. My 68S (Dec 67 delivery) with LSD has Nadella output flanges (but only one Nadella shaft left, the other replaced with Löbro shaft with an adapter). Interesting number on the back of the output flange cover plate:

Found an interesting piece of information in the factory workshop manual that I thought should be incuded in this thread:

"Vehicle types 911, 911S and 912 are being equipped with NADELLA half shafts (Spare Part Nr. 901.332.025.02) and LÖBRO half shafts (Spare Part Nr. 901.332.026.10) on an alternating basis.
    CAUTION:
Vehicles equipped with the ZF Multiple Disc Self Locking Differential may be equipped only with NADELLA half shafts."

This is from the 911 Workshop Manual, Volume I, Section R, page R77. 1965 manual with supplements up to 1970.
