    SWinter Driving season

I have really started to loathe this time of year. Too hot to get out and enjoy the car with consistent triple digit temperatures. Even the car is not happy in this heat If I brave the sweat seat sticky feeling.

I am looking forward to Fall. At least I can say that the summer should be more than half over now.

I guess I just need to focus on finishing the 914 project car.

No kidding, Jamie! Too danged hot for our vintage cars. But, if it's any encouragement on the 914 project, I enjoy driving my 914-6 with top down in the early mornings and evenings. But from around 10 AM till 5 PM it's verboten.

You got it, Jack- this is when I've been getting out a couple of times a week. Still 95 deg around sunset but it's bearable without the direct sun.

Alan, That looks like the Mt Bonnell descent.

Yes, late nights are a possibility. I have been doing the opposite, getting up early and waking the neighbors with the sport pipes.

Yep, it's Mt Bonnell- a short stretch of road where my car MAY be nearly as quick as yours!
