7/23/11 Ed Mayo Porsche Parade Send Off at Mayo Performance

We'll be having a get together on Saturday July 23, 2011 at Mayo Performance in Euless, TX from 9 a.m. until noon to send Ed off to the Parade in Georgia.

He is finishing up his "barn find" '67S and has a lot of stories on the rebirth of the car after sitting for 30 years.

Everyone is welcome- hope to see you at the shop.

Mike, Ed's "new" car looks great. I am sure he will do well. I wish I could come up for the gathering but I have plans for this weekend.

Other that the fact that it was hot, hot, hot it was a nice get together to see ED's car ready (almost) for the drive to Parade. It is good to have confidence in a barn find that has less the 10 mi on it to date, getting on the road for 2500 mi. Ed still has a few days prior to departure to get the last bits done.

Good stories go with this one...

Ah, it was only hot while standing in the sun! Good luck to Ed. He's a brave soul and a fantastic mechanic and friend.
