Raj-It was IROC heaven. The Peru Red car was the real deal. Owned be Sewickly, it was originally an Aubergine car raced by 3 different drivers during the IROC series. Original Motor and Transmission were not in the car. It currently has a twin plug 3.0 with carbs, 901 transmission and ATL fuel cell. Got some pictures of the original parts still on the car. I thought of you when I saw this car remembering the conversations about what parts make a historic race car real. VIN/Tub, motor, transmission, etc?

There were also some great 914s in attendance. A lot of them were racing, which was great to watch. Here is a picture of a 914-6 that I believe raced on saturday.

Looks like fun Dave, thanks for the pics. I was hoping to be there, but could not get away. I have only heard good things about this event, maybe next year....

Mark- I watched a ton of racing! The cars looked and sounded great. Here are some very amateur videos
Jim- You would have really enjoyed it. All the Porsche owners I met were great people and enjoyed sharing the stories of their cars. I am definitely going next year.
