with all the respect to the Grüne Hölle, only those drivers who drove this track with a certain car should mount a badge like this on this certain car.

In all likelihood, Dirk, he probably did drive it; he was a true car guy then and from what I know of him, he was always a car guy.

    Whew ---- dooooooon't think so

    Top --- Body-bumpers + un-slotted wheels = start-of-production ~'50-to-early '52 (?)

    Bottom --- 'bent' windshield (no 'split') = '52-to-'54 . . . same car?

    Also, unusual outside-rear-view placement

Super-cool badges, btw ---- + thanks for posting!

    Another 'Old' Badge

Came across this one, recently --- with a crisp + properly umlauted citation on the back!

Some slight differences --- no scribing on the mounting tabs + brighter finishing . . . but bright/sharp detailing = a handsome bit

    That’s my old Nürburgring badge.
I would like to mount it again but haven’t found nuts, bolts and washer yet.

Early 52 Coupe....body bumpers and non-split window give it away.

Agree, I'm not a badge guy and only ever wanted to add this to mine. I felt it was warranted only after I drove the ring (12 laps) in 2011.

I’d like to get an original late 60’s badge.

I haven’t driven the Ring but my car’s done a few hundred laps.

I wouldn’t mount it on the car but instead perhaps a block of walnut.

    Anyone have one?
