I was asked about the center holes in the 8+9x15 Fuchs....they are the type for 3 prong caps with a thicker circle as used on Fuchs up through 73. Beginning in 74 the centers were made with a thinner looking circle to accept the ring-type caps (and still accept the 3 prong caps also). Actually, these wheels were built from the original 72 6x15 Fuchs that were on the car when I bought it. Harvey Weidman used the original wheel centers to build 8+9x15s, so they would have the correct look for a 72 ST with the 3 prong centers. So now they even have the correct date codes for the car...

Anyone that wants to cut up 4 perfectly good dated 6s and 4 perfectly good 8s to make something cool has my vote.
Oh yeah, check out the "dip" line in the cap hole....
