    First time poster... Just wanted to thank you for the effort put into this thread, I know they are quite a bit of work. I recently acquired and in-flight ST project from a friend and found your thread and car to be informational and inspirational.

    Oh, what an amazing difference a VIN makes....


    I attended John Willhoit's wonderful and crowded open house today, and this is the view most of us saw of the light yellow 73 Carrera RS that reportedly just sold for $1.3 milion....except this one (my 72 ST) has a VIN that begins...911210...unlike the one at John's shop which begins...911360....
