    '11 Monterey Pre-Reunion Meeting

All I can say is...........if last Saturday's Pre - Reunion at Laguna Seca was any indication of what we can expect, this coming weekend should be just epic.

There was a bit of everything: exquisite historic cars we all fantasize about, the right people without whom none of this would happen, spirited racing, perfect weather ...........and this was just a 50% prelude to this coming weekend.

I came home today to pick up some more gear and fresh clothes and will be going back to the Monterey Peninsula tomorrow AM to finish the weeks activities, but since I never travel with a computer, I wanted to post some quickie shots from the Track and yesterday's "Cars-on-the-Avenue" Concours in Carmel ( see next new thread, please ).

Got lots of new "ammo" to finish out the "pic-o'-the day " thread for the rest of the year.

.....and the 3rd & final set. ( Yes, it's the Aston - Martin Project 214, the only surviving example of 2 ever produced ) and one of the best friends of the early Porsche community, Rod Emory, in his pit .

Much more to come, but please be patient because you'll have to wait for the next issue of the ESSES for the rest................ if your membership is paid up.

    John,

I love the one looking through the rear hood of what looks like a "Pooper."
