Estimated Value of 1970 911 S Sunroof Coupe

Hello All,

I own a 1970 911S sunroof coupe and am thinking of selling it. I have read the recent threads on values of these cars but am interested in your thoughts on this car. As you can see from the pictures, she looks nice. She got a descent Albert Blue paint job about 5 years ago that still looks good. I recently replaced the worn out T motor that had powered this car for years with a very strong 72 2.4S MFI motor. According to the seller of the motor, it was rebuilt by RMG and has all the goods including a 911S crankshaft, rods, S heads, Biral (alloy) S cylinders, S pistons, S cams, larger Carrera oil pump, RaceWare rod bolts, Carrera oil-fed chain tensioners, Turbo lower valve covers, SSI Stainless exhaust. With all the ‘S’ features, the crank case serial number is that of a 72T. I believe this motor has less then 10k miles on it. A couple other notes; the front oil cooler is not present. The hoses are there, just no cooler. While the headliner is nice and new, the seats are from the wrong era. The interior needs some work to get back to original.

In summary, I have a nice looking 911S with a very strong and buttery smooth MFI S-Specs motor. The car is a nice driver with lots of power and a functional interior. Obviously this in not your matching VIN 911S, but does have a lot to offer.

Any thoughts on the value of this car? There is no significant rust and no apparent accidents.
