I would give the race 2 thumbs up...the line back and forth into the ALMS PAddock on St. sucked...but for a first time event, they did a great job....I apologize for not stopping to say Hi to the person in the S Registry t-shirt as we passed each other in that line.....As my 11 year old said..."Dad, this is the first time I have been in a human traffic jam". My guys got a great picture with Kevin Buckler. He was very very nice and invited the boys to sit in Pumpelly's Cup car...Kevin now has two new and very devoted fans...<grin>

The rough circuit played into the hands of the 911's with weight on the rear wheels...others could not get power down. I had some friends racing in the F2000 races and the said the one of the biggest challenges was trying to figuring out how to get power down. Another friend who is a media phot guy said he got some great shots of the cars almost completely airborn over the area they paved on Friday morning...those should be some great shots. I think everyone softened up their suspension after Friday's practice session
