Who makes a good R ST RSR muffler?

Here's one I did to copy the looks of a R/ST muffler. I started with an old muffler I'd had laying around for years. Someone had already cut some holes in the skin, I cut into the baffles then welded on 2 1/2" pipes. In order for the pipes to line up under the shortened bumper guards they end up being to the outside of the end plates, so you need to cut holes in those endplates. If you don't the muffler will end up being too restrictive and not really any louder than a stock one. Then you have to go back and reopen your patches to cut the endplates. You may be wondering how I know that (and you would be right!)

These both look great. I like the home grown aspect.

    Nice work.

Does anyone have a source for 70mm stainless tubing? Or do I make my own.

T, do these measure at 70mm OD? Stainless or mild steel.

(btw, did you get that weber linkage from VonBulow Race Services? Is the car running? Are you ever gonna get your ridge runnin', moonshine boilin', southern redneck ass up to the North Country?)
