    Cibie Covers - Older Replicas ?

    I've had this pair of Cibie Pallas Covers for about 8 years. When I purchased them, they were claimed to have originally come from Peter Kitchak and be the real deal. The decals don't match up with most photos of older originals, and the straps were repros. Could these be a pair of originals that had new decals & straps applied before I purchased them? Were there some earlier repros before the current ones out in the last couple of years? Appreciate any help. Thanks! Sam G.

    I had a pair of concave original covers a couple of years ago and I wish to hell I could have kept them . Yours definitely look restored. The backs of mine were yellow not gray.

    Some years ago, David Moore, of Moorespeed in Austin TX had some covers made. David also maintained Peter's cars so there is a possible connection. And he, David, did tell me that he had the straps remade as well.
