    Porsche 911 SC/RS 954 technical information

I have been researching for tecnical information and pics about 954 unfortunatly there is only a few photos in the net that´s why I´m specially interested in roll bars schemes and shell reinforcements, to try to plan the construction of a SC/RS spec shell, I have some pics attached above if any one has been in any event and has some pictures it would be very helpfull for me all what i have is this:

Here is a page of a factory rallye accessories (Zubehor) book for 954 period . One photo shows what they were selling as the factory Roll cage. The other has the part number for skid plate ('underbody protection' ...seems to me there should be another part number though .....one front , one rear. But maybe it was one long piece ?).

These seem to be pages from two differant parts books from the print layout , but maybe not. I'm not sure.

Are you going to do another project, or is this plan for the 003 shell ? Myself , I think I would find out the form it was first built into by Trabal (or whomever did it for him) , and replicate back to that ...find another shell for an SCRS project.

But maybe you cannot live with a slant nose front on 003 ? Of course , it is your choice and any direction you go. I'm sure it will be very neat.

For future value (but that might not be a concern of yours) , either as Trabel raced it. Or as an F-series RS 2.7 , but as trabel raced would be worth most.

    Very interesting and uncommon project.
I remember a restoration reported in "911 & Porsche World" about 4 or 5 years ago but I have to look for that issue.
