According to a little chart I created, the car should have Solexes, but in fact it has Webers. Still, some value there; just not as much as the seller thinks.

Webers came in February 66 with the 901/05
This car was built in November 65.

Built in Nov. 65 means 1966 model year. I hate all this cashing in on anything with a freaking 65 associate with it.

I was just trying to help giving some facts regarding the Solex/Weber change, not weighing in in the discussion about the model year which is, of course 66.

Which part of the advert is misrepresenting this car? If you actually read the advert you will see that the seller never represents the car as a 65 model year car, instead lists the made date, the chassis number, and the paint code number.

I tend to agree. Nothing that I have seen suggests to me this car is being misrepresented. It's a carefully worded ad, perhaps. But I haven't yet seen something that suggests (in my own mind at least) lines have been crossed by the seller.

title of the advert says "1965 911 matching number 302702 Calif Arizona Price: $100000" It is not a 1965 911.

    Properly represented would say

    1966 911 matching number 302702 Calif Arizona...
